Panamerica Cycling World Record
Hi, we are Jonas and Roman from Germany and we need your help to shoot a fantastic documentary about "Panamerica Solo".
Jonas the rider
I have spent most of my life exploring the world, going on big adventures and pushing myself to my limit.
Last year I fullfiled a dream and became the first person to cycle across Eurasia, setting the Guinness World record at 64 days. The 14.300 km long journey was the hardest and most amazing thing I have ever done. This year it's time for an even tougher challenge.
The Panamerica Solo.
On the 18th of August, I will set off at the Article Ocean in Alaska and cycle 23.000 km to the Southern point of South America. Of course, my journey will be fully unsupported which makes it even harder, but most importantly a great adventure. The current unsupported world record time stands at 125 days, a time that I want to beat by almost a month.
Together we want to shoot a fantastic documentary about the journey. The movie is about the adventure, joy, emotions and also pain and suffering of Jonas as well as the landscapes, people and encounters along the route.
Help us to make this happen. Every donor will be named in the end of the movie and a part of the money goes to charity!
Roman the cameraman
Apart from being a passionate cyclist and adventurer, I'm also a professional camera operator, cutter and editor. In 2016 I have crossed the United States by bike and wrote a book about it. Panamerica Solo will be a highlight for me and I am looking forward to making a great documentary about the journey.
Rainforest protection is a cause that is at our hearts. We have partnered with OroVerde, a certified environmental non-profit. Up to 50% of donations will go to the Rainforest.

Greetings from Colombia :) more than halfway done and despite all challenges still on target for less than 100 days. Now the Andes and some serious climbing are coming. Big thanks to everyone who donated. Be aware that there are different rewards. You find them on my website. To get one you need to send me an email with your address and the reward you want.
