The Smith Family

Friday 3/15 came as a regular day for our family our kids were off of school and we were enjoying the beautiful weather. Little did we know that within 24 hours our house would be under water, everything besides the clothes and items we could grab when we were evacuated is gone. Nothing can prepare a person for this type of loss. We have to start over with nothing. From the big things to the little items you wouldnt think of as a necessity until you no longer have it. We are asking our family, friends and community to help us rebuild our lives,get into a home for us and our three young children, and get back to as normal life and surrounding as possible. We would love nothing more then to have our home back but we know that just isnt possible. We didnt have flood insurance to cover any of our loss and renters insurance isnt able to help us. Starting over isnt going to be easy but these funds will go towards helping us find a home and getting the essential items we need. We are hopeful and thankful for the support and kind words we have recieved. Any little bit will help us tremendously. We are beyond grateful for your donations and kind words.
