Indulge in the vices of the Wild West...

The Painted Ladies want to treat you right, but they cannot do it without your help!

Time travel to 1867 costs a pretty penny, but your contribution will bring this opportunity to life at the Capital Fringe Festival in SW D.C. this July.

In this historical fiction comedic drama, you'll be able to spend time with the “badly behaved,” sharp business savvy, multi-talented economic powerhouses that are the saloon ladies.

This interactive play brings you right into The Sweet Fall Saloon where you can enjoy the oh so special delights of the American Wild West: gambling, dancing, lively talkers, and of course good ‘ol shenanigans! We want you to be a part of it all! Come discover that these ladies are far more than meet the eye and were waaay ahead of their time.

An incredible and talented group of people help keep the saloon running, your contributions support them too.  Also, our painted ladies can offer you extra perks and luxuries if we meet and hopefully pass our gofundme goal.

Some of the costs include: corsets - lots of corsets, the front bar for the drinking,* the back bar for the drinking* and all the westerny things.

It takes a lot to run a saloon. Our fundraising goal is the bare minimum we need  to give you a show and the good times you deserve.

You will have our undying gratitude. We give you our word. And in our business, our word is everything. Also, it's always good to have a painted lady owe you a favor. ;)

TMD Theater has produced a variety of productions from the stage to the screen to podcasts. Our productions have been featured at The Kennedy Center's Page to Stage Festival, the 48 Hour Film Festival, and Paula Vogel's UBU Bake-off.

Too Much Damn (TMD) Theater is led by three Fearless Warrior Women of Planet Earth that want you to love and fight for theater as much as they do. Through the newest, hippest works from local artists, we produce storylines that make each audience member invested in the life of the characters. You won’t be the same as when you entered the theater. Our shows smash the idea that you have to be a certain way, or have to walk a certain line. We are throwing “normal” away.
It is our habit and solemn duty to make dreams and artistic visions come true.

This production is presented as a part of the 2018 Capital Fringe Festival, a program of the Washington, DC non-profit Capital Fringe.

*Per Capital Fringe Festival Guidelines, no alcohol will be used in the production.
