Update! The truck dedication celebration has been planned for June 19th, 2019 5:00 pm at Tahoma High School in Maple Valley. Please come by and share in the fun!
When the mudslides hit Oso, Soup Ladies, led by Ginger “Mama” Passarelli, were there to take care of the first responders. When Firefighters were risking their lives fighting against forest fires from Canada to California, Soup Ladies were keeping their stomachs filled. When disaster strikes, Soup Ladies rally, mobilize and support our police, fire fighters, military and other first responders wherever they are needed.
They are literally… “Warming the world one bowl at a time!”
AND NOW THEY NEED OUR HELP TO CONTINUE THEIR MISSION.

Soup Ladies have been featured on Mike Rowes Facebook series Returning the Favor. Mike Rowe and crew came to Washington to learn about the incredible work done by Ginger and her Soup Ladies. Our community could not be more proud of them and their work. People from far and wide have met Ginger and the other Soup Ladies as they provide fresh hot meals with smiling faces - even during the darkest moments, fulfilling their goal of “Warming the World one bowl at a time”.
Maple Valley Rotary has been an ardent supporter of Soup Ladies and their mission from the beginning. Today we ask you to stand with us and continue to support them with a donation, as we strive to gift them with a new four-wheel drive truck. A new truck is vital to their ability to get where they need to go in order to serve those who put themselves in harm’s way.
Excess funds will be held for the Soup Ladies Future needs and the Maple Valley Rotary Foundation to be used in future local projects.
