Padma's Road to Recovery

I'd like you to meet Padma, the newest member of Blue Lion Rescue! In honor of Lurch, we've decided to take in this little princess. She's a Cane Corso believed to be about 5 years old. Much like Lurch, she was found over an embankment in Houston. Also, much like Lurch she is paralyzed in her hind legs. She's currently at the vet getting Antibiotics, X-Rays, Bloodwork, laser therapy, etc. She's thin and tired and will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning for a severe case of Pyometra.  She'll undergo heartworm treatment and have an MRI.  Let's rally around this little gem and send her love and well wishes to get better. Welcome to rescue .... you're in good hands now baby girl.
