Packwood Trail Project

Help bring accessible multi-use trails to Packwood, Washington!

Residents and lovers of Packwood have identified the need for a trail, or a system of trails that (are):
1. Multi-use (hiker, biker, runner, hunter friendly), non-motorized
2. Accessible year round (below the winter snowline)
3. Easy to hike/ride (more/less flat)
4. Pavement accessible (can drive on a paved road to trail head)
5. Provide an economic benefit to the Packwood community
6. Bring together federal, state, and local agencies with interested organizations and Packwood community
7. Interpret rich cultural history of Packwood (pre-Columbian to present)
8. Use and/or link in to historic and currently maintained trails

There is a lot to do before we can start building trails and we need funding to help launch the Packwood Trail Project as a 501-c-3 corporation. There are many basic expenses including  filing fees, legal and other professional fees.
