PSX Indoor Scooter Park

Donation protected
Over the past decade, the popular and dynamic sport of scootering has carved out a space in the extreme sports arena.

There is a definite need in the rainy Pacific Northwest for a place to ride indoors.  Unfortunately, many indoor venues are limited to skateboard and BMX riders and only allow scooter riders at limited times, if at all.

Pacific Scooter Experience (PSX) was created to meet this need.  After months of conversations with scooter kids and parents, it was decided that a non-profit business model would provide the greatest service to the community.  A Board was created, made up of scooter community parents with experience in business planning and development.

We are excited to announce that we have leased the space, are operating as a non-profit, and have the designs drawn up.  The indoor park will be located in Redmond, Washington, in a well-maintained industrial park surrounded by local businesses and organizations.

We are now ready to begin building!

Once the funds are in place, this project should move forward as planned.  Our goal is to open the indoor park by early summer for lessons, camps and special events.  To do this, PSX will need to raise $30,000 to complete the build out and open the park as scheduled.

All proceeds go directly to the PSX project.

PSX will be open 7 days a week.

All levels and ages of scooter riders are welcome.

Helmets must be worn at all times.  Helmets, pads and scooters will be available for rent.

Park Revenue:  Admission, healthy snack/beverage vending machines, Birthday parties, Camps, Private & Group Lessons, Scooter Competitions and other industry-related events.  PSX T-Shirts, Hoodies and Caps will also be available for purchase.

PSX would like to host financially-assisted scooter events and camps for at risk kids.

PSX is a registered non-profit corporation in the state of Washington. We are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service.  IRS Pub 557 indicates that the effective date of our exemption will be retroactive to our date of incorporation, which is February 17, 2017.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:

Our Interior walls are available for branding and advertising.  PSX is expecting 300 visitors per month. Most scooter riders (local and pro) average 1–2 social media posts per park visit. This means that in addition to your message or company logo being seen by in-house riders and their parents, your branding has the potential to be viewed by thousands of eyes on Instagram and Facebook.
