Sex Trafficking Shelter in Oklahoma City
Right now, Oklahoma City has ZERO beds in a safe, state-certified place survivors of sex trafficking.
YOU CAN HELP US CHANGE THAT.
The Dragonfly Home has found a property that’s uniquely perfect for our vision: a beautiful, peaceful place. A place where we can provide specialized therapy services. A place where we can expand the shelter over time. A place where victims of sex trafficking can find healing and restoration.
We need your help to make it happen. We have until March 28, 2019 to raise $350,000 to purchase the property and prepare it to open as quickly as possible.
THE DRAGONFLY HOME'S WORK:
The Dragonfly Home has provided non-residential services for over 250 victim/survivors of human trafficking and fielded over 2500 calls to their 24-Hour Human Trafficking Helpline since November 2016.*
Not every victim/survivor of human trafficking needs shelter, but for those who do there hasn't been any place available in Oklahoma City. The Dragonfly Home has had to drive hundreds, even over 1,000 miles to get some people to a shelter that specializes in serving victim/survivors of human trafficking.
