Devolviendole la vida a Noris

El nombre de mi hija es Noris, ella tiene 22 años y estabaestudiando Economía en el Instituto Universitario de TecnologíaIndustrial en Carabobo, Venezuela. Ella es la madre de una niñaque tiene 3 años. Su sueño era terminar su carrera comoeconomista y a la vez convertirse en un artista de maquillaje yaque es su pasión. Noris es una mujer muy trabajadora, pero susplanes y su vida cambió en sólo segundos debido a un accidente.

 

El 04 de septiembre de 2018, mi hija estaba en el asiento traserode una moto. Ninguno de mis dos hijos tienen un claro recuerdodel accidente ya que perdieron la conciencia. Lo siguiente que recuerdan es despertar inconsciente en el suelo, muy adoloridosy 10 metros de distancia entre ellos. Mi hija si saber que estabafracturada camino hacia su hermano con el fin de ayudarlo. Como consecuencua, los tres huesos fracturados (fémur, peronéy tibia) terminaron pasando a través de la piel causando unapérdida de hueso.

 

El propósito de esta campaña es poder pagar las cirugíasnecesarias y suministros médicos necesarios para mi hija. Norisvive actualmente en Venezuela, y debido a la situación del país, es muy difícil encontrar los suministros médicos necesarios para completar todas las 6 cirugías necesarias para la recuperación. La primera cirugía tiene como objetivo la fijación de la tibia. Como consecuencia de la pérdida de los huesos, los médicostuvieron que añadir cemento óseo para evitar cualquierinfección. La tercera cirugia y la ultima que ha recibido, hasta ahora, tenia como fin cerrar la herida... Cada cirugía duróalrededor de 3 a 4 horas. Los médicos recomiendan que se lleven a cabo las tres últimas cirugías que faltan en un mismodía. Noris tendrá que estar 8 horas en la sala de operaciones para asi fijar el fémur, añadir 2 tutores (tipo ilizarov) en la tibia y el fémur para el alargamiento del hueso.

 

Ya que estamos viviendo en Venezuela, y no hay seguridad de que va a haber luz en el hospital por 8 horas seguidas, y las plantas de energía no duran tanto. Es de mayor riesgo la cirugíasabiendo que cualquier cosa podria pasar. En el momento en que se finalicen todas las cirugías, mi hija tendrá que hacer 9 mesesaproximadamente de fisioterapia para ayudarla a mover las piernas. Noris lleva 10 meses en cama y 2 de ellos con lasheridas abierta. Mientras más rapido recolectemos el dinero, másrápido podemos empezar con los tratamientos y para esonecesitamos que colaboren con lo que puedan.

Noris is a very handy, hard working girl, but her plans and her whole life changed in only seconds due to an accident. 

 

On September 4th, 2018, my daughter was in the back seat of a motorcycle. None of my two children have a clear memory of the accident because they lost complete conscience. The next thing they remember is waking up unconscious on the floor, extremely sore, and 10 meters away from the crashed vehicle. My daughter fought against her fractures in order to help her brother which caused three more fractures (femur, fibula & tibia). In no time, these fractures got worse and the bone ended up passing through the skin causing a loss of bone. 

 

The purpose of this campaign is to be able to pay the necessary surgeries and medical supplies needed for my child. Noris is currently living in Venezuela, and due to the country’s situation, it is extremely hard to find the medical supplies needed to complete all 6 surgeries her child awaits. The first surgery aimed at fixing the tibia. As a consequence of the loss of bones, the doctors had to add bone cement to avoid any infections. The third surgery and the last she has received until now, was to close the wound.. Each surgery lasted around 3 to 4 hours. Doctors recommend that the last three surgeries that are missing are completed all in the same day. Noris will have to be 8 hours in the operating room in order to to fix the femur, add 2 tutors (ilizarov type) in the tibia and femur for the bone lengthening.

 

Since we are living in Venezuela, there is no light at the hospital, and the power plants will not last 8 hours of surgery. It is of extreme high risk to go into surgery knowing that the power could die in any minute. After all the surgeries are completed, my daughter will have to do approximately 9 months of (fisioterapia en ingles) to help her start moving her legs again. Noris has been 10 months in bed and 2 of them with an open wound. The sooner we collect the money, the quicker we can begin with the treatments and for that we need a bit of your help.
