Help Vanessa Kick Cancer's Ass

VA's the mama bear to Claire-bear, the sizzle to Ryan's steak and the most loving sister and friend you could hope for (all the while maintaining her place as one of the best teachers you've ever met). She spent her summer battling some moderate-to-serious hip and back pain. When that pain was accompanied by loss of appetite, fever and nausea she was admitted to Brigham and Women's in Boston and diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). With the help of their world class team we expect to Kick Cancer's Ass (#KCA).

As one can imagine, the challenges don't end once VA is cancer free and allowed to be back with her perfect little family. Vanessa won't be able to work for at least 6 months as she continues her battle back to good health. Any donations to help them pay the bills and raise their beautiful daughter during this trying time will be greatly appreciated.
