Nicks Courageous Battle with Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Linda and the picture attached is of my brother Nick. He is one year and 25 days younger than me, but I am  his big sister and looking out for him has always  been important to me. Nick is a husband, father of a son whom he adores , a son,  an uncle  and a cherished friend and colleague to all who know him.
Nick has a love for family, an amazing work ethic, a "wicked" sense of humor, a HUGE heart/home for abandoned animals, and a talent for building beautiful works of art from scraps of wood.

5 yrs ago  Nick was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mestastatic Neck and Throat  cancer.  When diagnosed, we were all in shock, yet he held his faith and assured all of us he would kick cancers butt. He went on to  endure numerous rounds of radiation and chemo that played havoc with his body. There were multiple unforeseen complications and stays in the hospital due to the aggressive treatment,  feeding tubes, oxygen masks, surgeries....yet, his will and strong nature shined through; and after many months, Nick was cancer free!!!
CANCER IS EVIL...and a year later this villian, Cancer, came back in multiple places; with his  unwavering strength and faith Nick fought with everything he had. The previous treatment left his body vulnerable, so treatment could not be as aggressive, but rather slow and steady.
The nature of Nick is to "keep on truckin"....yep, his work ethic, faith, and love for his wife and son would not keep him from providing for his family. Nick continued to work and fit treatments in between his work day, as not to lose his wages. He works for a State University which does not provide the ability to pay into disability, but rather depends on the donations of other employees to donate their time for those who need time off. Many came to the rescue during this time which was a true blessing, as it allowed Nick to focus on his health. His gratitude is endless for his Unniversity Family.

3 months ago he was told he must go on an indefinite leave to fight for his life. Nick was shattered by this news, not for the reasons many of us would be, but because he can no longer provide for his family.
We have recently received news that the donations have ended and he will not receive any assistance.

His medical bills have stacked up , he worries about how to pay the bills and losing his home.I love my brother, as his Big Sister I want to protect him from the worry, so he can focus on his health.
Go Fund Me, is the one thing I can do to help with the  finanicial burden and in my heart, his peace of mind.

Any donation is greatly appreciated during this very difficult time.
Peace be with you, Linda
