Although the goal set for the celebration has been reached it has come to our attention that some of Will`s family members are in need of help with their travel and accommodation expenses and all funds not used on the celebration will revert to the immediate family. Thus we have set a new goal and we are hoping for your continued support. Thank you in advance and please share
Will Wallace April 21, 1930- March 25, 2017
Will has been and is a treasure in the Monterey Peninsula area for well over 40 years. This retired military and postal employee was mostly know from being an official photographer for the world class Monterey Jazz Festival and the Monterey Bay Blues Festival of which he was a long time member. He also was a very popular figure in the ballroom dancing community.
He was known to be the kindest, sweetest generous and committed friend as attested in the many Face Book comments.
Will `s only wish was to have a celebration of his life, a homecoming featuring his family members, live music from the many musicians he has photographed, the many friends he has attracted over the decades and anyone who enjoys a good time.
If you were fortunate enough to have known Will, we hope you will feel compelled to step up for our friend and help grant his wish.
Specific details of the Homecoming will be posted when date and time are determined and be prepared for the celebration of the lifetime of an amazing human being. I have known Will for close to 40 years and am honored to be in a position to help and to ask for your help. Any unused funds will revert back to Wills immediate family and in advance I thank you.
