Hello, my name is Jennifer Jamerson and I have started this campaign to raise funds for the Simonson/Dolan/Pisky family. This family recently experienced tremendous loss. On Sunday, March 15, 2015, a fire took the life of their patriarch, landed their matriarch in intensive care and deemed their home and all personal belongings a total loss.
Due to these sudden and unanticipated events, they have now found themselves both personally and financially devastated. This family has experienced an unthinkable loss of life and of their very basic needs. As you can imagine, this experience has left them all frightened and extremely unsettled, especially the children.
The surviving members in need include an adult sister with special needs and a daughter and her 3 children. The daughter, being the caretaker for the entire household, feels helpless and is struggling to provide her family with some sense of normalcy. Her children, a daughter aged 15 and sons aged 14 and 10, have been scarred and it will take a long time to heal. The last thing any of them need to worry about at this time is having clothes to wear and backpacks to carry to school.
Not only does this family need to secure housing, they also need to secure other basic necessities including food, toiletries and clothing which can be donated by contacting me directly through Facebook. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will be put to the best possible use in order to assist this family in their recovery process.
