OVPB Stolen Backstop

Orangevale Pony Baseball needs your help!
OVPB has two field where we play our games. Our one location had portable classrooms installed, which caused us to lose a field last year. We were able to remove the backstop, etc., so we could then use it at a new location when we found one.
We took the dismantled backstop and chained it up behind our storage container at Pasteur Middle School. Well sadly on July 5th it was noticed that the backstops chain had been cut and the backstop was gone. The thieves cut the locks and chains and hauled off all the pieces necessary to complete and install a backstop at a baseball field. This wouldn’t have been an easy removal. We had two large truck loads chained to the container. This is a very expensive piece of material/equipment and we need your help to replace it.
This is very heartbreaking! They stole from little kids trying to learn the game of baseball.
Our local news stations came out to help get the word out. Here is the video clip.

We have also had many of you reach out to us on social media asking to help and wanting to donate. In response we have set up this Go Fund Me Account.
All funds raised will be set aside until a location has been determined for the new backstop.
Orangevale Pony Ball is a long standing local organization. We run strictly on volunteers and community donations. We provide baseball for boys and girls ages 3 1/2 to 14 for players and seeks to implant in the youth of the community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence, so they may be finer, stronger and happier youths who grow to be good, clean, healthy adults.
