Out of the Tent for Xmas

Recently I was introduced to Gary a Forces veteran who has fallen on hard times of late. He is living in a tent with few facilities. Receives no income and lives off £60 per week of food vouchers. He is an amiable, articulate and intelligent guy. So I decided to set up this page in order to try to give him a life back and set him on the road to a life less horrible. I know little about his past and really am not looking to delve deeply in to it. However my aim is to provide a Caravan to live in, his wish not ours, with nearby services. Some decent clean clothes and toiletries. He has ambition and just needs a leg up at this time. We are supporting with advice and advocacy in relation to benefits and services he should be receiving.

Money will (indeed has) be used for deposit and 3 months rent. And basic for the flat.
Although monies have not been received from this yet Gary is in his Flat and has 3 months of grace to take stock. Out of my own pocket in lieu of it being paid.
