A Campaign Fund for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School
History
Consider this: in 1912 a school was started in a two-room wooden structure for grades one through four. In a short time, a second story was added to accommodate all eight grades. In 1940, the pastor and parishioners had the vision to build a new school -- a state of the art brick structure that is still in service today. It is, of course, too small, not handicap accessible, filled with asbestos, in need of new plumbing, new windows, and updated electricity.
Project Underway
With the help from individuals and families of our parish, community, and Catholic faith we have successfully raised $3,791,465.05, and an additional $1,442,321.85 in pledges yet to be received. We are sincerely grateful for all of the support. Because of those generous donations, the project is underway! October 9, 2016, was a monumental milestone for our parish with the groundbreaking of the new Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School.
Support Needed
Now we are asking for the support of our friends and family across the globe to help us reach an immediate goal of $595,000. The money raised through GoFundMe will have a direct impact on the construction of the school, which will keep the project on schedule for opening the new building Spring 2018.
Thank you for your support. Your generous donation will ensure the children of the next hundred years will have the same chance to experience the gift of faith and learning through Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School.

- Hope that will deepen our commitment to the things we cannot see including eternal life.
- Love that will flow from our attitudes, words, and actions.
- Joy that will fill our community with the love of God and compassion for one another.
- Generosity of time, talent, and treasure to build a new school for our children and future generations.
Enable us to do what those who have gone before us have done. Strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ and our love and commitment to our children.
With gratitude for all your gifts, we ask Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Mother of Jesus to give us the courage to do this.
