Our Milo

This page is set up to help a number of families with children with life-limiting conditions and illness. The money raised will go towards providing specially adapted equipment for use in the homes. We understand first hand how dificult it is to take a child out to groups and most of the learning and development is done at home. Special and adapted equipment or sensory toys cost a huge amount of money but they do improve quality of life and improves development. The aim with these funds will help other families . Relief from the financial hardship it can cause and provide items which would not be possible to afford financially due to their child requiring 24 hour care. We had raised funds for a bespoke sensory room which will change Milo's life for the better and this is the reason we want to do this, we know 1st hand how much this would benefit and help these children. We aim to help so many more. Our Milo stands for so much more and our aim is to change lives for the better.
The goal is to raise funds for a fully mobile sensory unit and a number of sensory items. This would remove the stress from families having to find the money for an item which would change their life and they can rest knowing that the whole family can relax and enjoy the equipment together in their own home. This will be the main page for donations and a huge number of challenges will be announced this year. All funds on this page will go directly to Our Milo and go towards this goal. 12 families can benefit from this unit each year and other families with the smaller sensory packs. The more that is raised the more families we can help. Our son has inspired so many people and showed that no matter how dark times may seem he can still come out fighting with a smile on his face.
