Hi friends and family,
It's with an absolute blow to my pride that I have to make this post and request for help.
All of you that know me, know that I'll be the first to throw a fundraiser car wash, garage sale, bar raffle, or provide my truck to help you move if anyone is ever in need. That being said, I would obviously arrange the same for myself and Jessica, but we were slapped with an unfortunate situation out of nowhere today that we don't have enough time to accomplish all of that.
Our baby girl, Rosie, hasn't been right since last night and this morning. Jessica took her to the vet and found out she has a life threatening infection in her uterus. The x-rays and blood work alone were $900, and her emergency surgery was an additional $3,000 "deposit" of what else is to come. Luckily we were able to put the $3,900 on a credit card, but it completely maxed us out and with our newborn baby's hospital bills our bank accounts are wiped out. We were told to expect in the area of an additional $7,000 on top of what we've paid to be able to bring Rosie home.
If Rosie was some old crusty that would be better off calling it quits, believe me, I'd be all about it for the money involved. But she's not. She's 6 years in to what is normally a 12-15 year life span for her breed. And if all goes well with the procedure she should have no problem seeing out the 2nd half of her life.
I know asking for $7,000 is outrageous, and again, I really wish I didn't have to. But unfortunately this IS our situation right now, and we need a tremendous amount of help to not lose our girl.
So PLEASE, please if only $5 or the support of a social media "share," please help us out. I will be forever in your debt and will be the first person to help you in any way, even if only for a beer.
