On the 28th June, it is with great shock and sadness that a beloved lady to many, Ann Doyle, grew her wings and is now resting peacefully in heaven. We are all shocked to hear this devasting news.
Ann, for everyone that knew her, knows of her kindness, generosity and caring nature. She did everything for everyone else and like her daughter Vicky says, put everyone before herself.
I remember turning 19 in the red lion, I had only known Ann a short while and she surprised me with a birthday present!! People just don’t do that!! But Ann did! I couldn’t believe it! She was the most thoughtful lady ever! I remember Alvin, Nawal, Bruce, Indy, Ranj, Suchard and Deepak doing a charity cycle with a good few regulars from the pub - for loved ones they had lost to dementia and alzheimers disease, and I remember Anne and Sharon walking up and down Southall Broadway with buckets, raising money - this was just the woman she was! We can all agree that Ann touched so many peoples lives in many different ways. These are just tiny things that I recall in my personal experiences with Ann, but these were not stand alone moments - She was like this everyday!!
Ann was always trying to help others, she looks after everyone - always there - the first one to organise a benefit night, always the first one to fundraise for charity, always the first one to help out a family in need. Always the first one to offer her help, her support.
