Our Love is Stronger Then Cancer

Update on Tracey: Tracey has been in the hospital for almost two months, fighting for every moment she has left here on Earth with her family and rescue dogs.  She was in the ICU for nearly 2 weeks and told she was going to die 3 times. She has saved all of her strength to survive The ICU.
The doctors and all of us agree we've never seen someone so strong and fight so hard. When being told she would soon die, her only concern was for her mother.  Tracey is the last living of 2 daughters.  Her mother suddenly and tragically lost her youngest daughter 3 years ago.
Today, the cancer has spread into all of her bones, her spine, and within 48 hours she was paralyzed from the upper chest down.
The doctors have told us there is nothing more they can do for her and are sending her home today, without her IV's or any feeding tubes . (She has been reliant upon these for over 6 weeks)
Her mother is 75 years old with a major heart condition and is willing but physically unable to do all of the very strenuous work that is required to care for Tracey on a daily basis.
We are looking to hire a nurse to help and we, her family, will help out in any of the hours the nurse can't be there. If we cannot reach this goal.
To our surprise, it will cost $600 for 24 hours (2 shifts) to pay for an in home caregiver.
PLEASE, if any of you can help, it would be so greatly appreciated.
Tracey is in good spirits and completely awake and alert.
We want her to have the best care for the final days she has left. Thank you to all of you who have contributed in the past. You helped Tracey to cover her bills while she couldn't work.  She is so grateful to every one of you.
WE APPRECIATE EVERY GIFT!

This is Tracey and her wonder-dog Samson. Knowing what a special soul Samson was, Tracey got him certified as a therapy dog, and for 6 years, they visited the sick in Children's Hospital, hospitals, nursing homes and cancer wards. Tracey and Samson even appeared on Cesar Milan's TV show for their work with Love On Four Paws. Tracey, who lost her father one year ago to cancer, and her younger sister the year before, never imagined that she would soon be diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

This December, when doctors told Tracey she only had months to live, Tracey told them, “You don’t know me. I’m a fighter.” Tracey is strong and feisty and is fighting to live, and we are a family who believes in miracles, but just as she reached out to help others when she was well, now she needs our help.

Most people don’t realize how a cancer diagnosis affects not only your physical health, but all other areas of your life. There are mounting medical bills, medicines that aren’t covered by insurance, pet foods and vet bills (Tracey has 6 rescue pets), and then all of the household bills that still need to be paid while you are unable to work.

One of Tracey’s greatest worries is losing her house while she is fighting for her life. Please help us keep Tracey on her feet. Give what you can. Every $5 helps.

Thank you for caring, and God bless you.
