Our Beloved Bubba

On June 19th, Michael Durazo, also known as our lovable "Bubba", was taken to Oak Valley Hospital in Oakdale, CA. Unsure of his condition, we were told that he had pneumonia and was very ill.. After a few days we were told he needed to be transferred to another hospital where he would then see a lung specialist... Little did we know, the damage to his lungs had already taken a great toll on his body and did a lot of damage to his other organs, including but not limited to an enlarged heart... There was still hope. On Monday, June 24th Bubba was transferred to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA.. Things were looking up, so we all thought.. The following day, things took a turn for the worse and we were told he wouldn't make it through the night, well he did!! He made it through that night, held on and was not letting go... But that's just our Bubba, a fighter!!! Days and nights went by, not knowing of what was to come. A rollercoaster of good news then bad news... Furthermore, things progressively got worse. On the evening of July 7th, our sweet Bubba lost his fight and succumbed to his illness. Prayers came in left and right but it wasn't enough as God already had his plan for Bubs.. While this meant no more pain or suffering, it left a grieving family wishing for one more day. These past 3 weeks have been nothing short of an emotional roller coaster for the Durazo family. This account has been set up in an effort to relieve any of the financial burdens they are left to face.. All donations will help alleviate some, if not all, of the expenses that come with burying our sweet loved one. All donations are greatly appreciated. We understand that not everyone will be able to donate, so aside from any monetary donations, all positive thoughts and prayers are also hugely appreciated.
