We need your support to empower us to continue the important work in our community.

Ottley Music School (OMS) is commemorating 45 years of Excellence & Passion in Music Making!  Since 1973, OMS has offered private lessons in piano, organ, voice and drama, strings, woodwinds, brass,  percussion and world instruments like African drums  and the Steel drums of Trinidad.

OMS offers private lessons and classes for students of all ages and goals, from  The Little Mozarts Program for preschoolers, to senior citizens.   Many  students turn to OMS for preparations for High School, College and Graduate School entrances.   Others prepare for local, regional and national music competitions.  Students with learning and behavioral disorders have benefitted greatly from their experience in Ottley Music School.

Your kind and generous donations are desperately needed now to allow us to continue our work in the community. Thanks to those who have either brought in or mailed in their tax-deductible donations.  Over $600 has been donated outside of the GoFundMe campaign so far.

Donations will be used for
- Advertisement and outreach to keep up enrollment
-Endowment for the maintenance of the school
-Scholarships for needy students
-Summer Camp residence facilities repairs/maintenance
-Hiring new administrative officers.

Nevilla Ottley and Edgar Adjahoe, now in their 70's,  have self funded this non -profit organization a significant way for 45 years.  Recently, when Edgar suffered an illness it became apparent that their resources had been depleted and external funding would be needed immediately  for the continued operation of the school in 2018.

Your tax-deductible donations are being made directly to OMS and  a receipt will be promptly mailed to you.

Please share this link with others that can also assist us.

Thank you.

Ottley Music School is grateful for the contributions we have received. Our students have done well during the past year. Great news, two of our students were selected by this year’s National Guild of Piano Teachers judge to perform at Carnegie Hall, Alysia Mitchell and Kianna Kelly-Futch.

The immediate need of the school to prepare for fall opening is to raise funds by August 20 to tune all the pianos and steel drums, to repair one of the organs and to re-string 2 harps totaling $13,642.00. Your generous tax-deductible donation of any amount will help. Thank you
