orthopaedic surgery for uganda

Hello to everyone has time and dedication to hear my story;

My name is Antonio Marmotti, I am an Italian orthopaedic surgeon and I work at the University of Torino (Italy)

I am involved in a project of education of Uganda surgeons  at CORSU Hospital in Entebbe (Uganda)

The goal is to help young Uganda surgeons to learn modern techniques to treat knee and hip diseases in a “grow together” operating sessions involving pediatric orthopaedic surgery;

this year the project implies the use of a tool for knee surgery and my aim is to buy this tool (an arthoscopic device to allow for knee reconstruction in pediatric and adult population) here in Italy and to bring this device in Uganda and leave it there to my Uganda colleagues to allow for multiple operation during the year; I’ll stay with them for 15 days to help them learning how to use this device;

the cost of the device is 8000 euros,

please help my in finding some of this money to realize this little dream

we can change the world, we really can do it if we give a little of our time and our heart

and we can do that saving one child at a time
