Funds for Orphans Tanzania-Africa

We, Rory and Johanne, are a couple in Ontario Canada who have been supporting and directly helping an orphanage in Tanga, Tanzania. We have supported this organization since 2010. Our first goal is to give them a chance at an education as it is the key for their future. We have visited the orphans for the last three years and will be going again this January for the beginning of their school year.

THE TRIP AND HOW WE USE THE MONEY
Our priority is their education. We will buy for them everything they need for school. They will need school tuitions, school uniforms, backpacks, books, school supplies. If there is any money left, we give the kids a special day out. This year we hope to take them to a professional soccer game or a movie.

SUMMARY

Last year, we raised $3400 Canadian which equates to 4.7 million Tanzanian Shillings !!! (2016)
This money went directly to the orphanage in Tanga, Africa. In 2016, with people's generous contributions, we were able to provide 18 orphans with school tuition, school uniforms, shoes, backpacks, mattresses and bycicles for the boys who need to go a long way for high school. We gave them each some spending money. We took to a resort and played in the pool with them and had a catered dinner especially for them at the resort.
WHEN ARE THE FUNDS NEEDED
The funds are needed by January of each year as it is the beginning of the school year.
WHY THIS MEANS A LOT TO US
After years of spending time with these children we have fallen in love with them. We think too many people are born into this world without having the chance to have their basic needs fulfilled. In this case without family or parents to fulfill those needs. This is why we want to help out as much as we can. Every donation, even if it's a small amount, is a huge step for them. We, united, can make a great change in these children’s lives.

LE VOYAGE ET COMMENT L'ARGENT EST UTILISÉ
Notre priorité est leur éducation. Nous allons acheter pour eux tout ce dont ils ont besoin pour l'école. Ils auront besoin d'uniformes scolaires, de sacs à dos, de livres et fornitures scholaires. S'il reste de l'argent, nous l'utiliserons pour sortir avec eux peut-etre pour voir in match de soccer ou aller voir un film.
L'an dernier, nous avons amassé 3400 $ canadien = 5,950,963 Shilling tanzanien !!! (2016)
Cet argent est allé directement à l'orphelinat de Tanga , en Afrique. En 2016, avec les généreuses contributions que nous avons reçu, nous avons été en mesure de payer à 18 orphelins les frais de scolarité ainsi que leur fournir des uniformes scolaires, soulier, sac a dos, matelas et des bicyclettes pour les gars qui vons une grande distance pour aller a l'ecole secondaire . Nous leur avons donné chacun un petit peux d'argent a depenser. On les a invité pour nager a une hotel and un repas avec nous. Le souper a été préparé par un traiteur qui leur a offert plusieurs choix de plats ainsi que plusieurs desserts.
QUAND AVONS-NOUS BESOIN DES FONDS
Nous aurions besoin des fonds pour le mois de décembre de chaque année, puisque notre départ sera en janvier à tous les ans. Nous organiserons des fêtes pour obtenir des fonds et avoir du plaisir ensemble. L'endroit vous sera communiqué dès que possible.
POURQUOI NOUS TENONS À FAIRE ÇA
Apres toutes ses annees a passer du temps avec ces enfants on est tomber en amour avec eux. Nous pensons que trop de gens sont nés dans ce monde sans avoir la chance d'avoir leurs besoins fondamentaux satisfaits. Les ressources ne sont pas proportionnellement partagées entre la population et c'est la raison pour laquelle nous voulons aider autant que nous le pouvons. Chaque don, si petit soit-il, correspond à un grand pas pour eux. Ensemble, unis, pouvons faire un grand changement dans la vie des gens.
