Hello everyone!
I’m very excited to share that I’ve taken the first step toward fulfilling a life-long dream of mine. My fiancé and I recently initiated a project to build an orphanage in Afghanistan. While this project may take approximately two years to complete, a temporary center has been set up while the orphanage is being built and we are asking our family and friends for help.
Our goal right now is to collect money for the center in which there are currently about 300 children, ages 4+ who have literally been picked up from the streets. This center ultimately serves the same function as the future orphanage, that is, to provide food, shelter, clothing and an education. All funds collected now will go toward the immediate use of providing the children with clothes, food, water, stationary, backpacks and other items.
Since we are a start-up, every dollar counts. Especially with the harsh winter conditions approaching, we ask for any help you can give. Your money will personally be handled and managed by my fiancé (who will monitor the progress of this project in Afghanistan himself) and he’ll see to it that every dollar is spent appropriately.
