Ordination Retreat at Akashavana

My Dear Friends,
As you know I’ve been in the ordination training process with the Triratna Buddhist Order for several years. I’m both excited and humbled to let you know I’ve received an invitation to be ordained in September 2017. The ordination will take place during a two-week retreat at Akashavana Retreat Centre in Teruel, Spain. My Private Preceptor, Dayalocana and I will be leaving for Spain in a few short weeks. I have much appreciation to all of you for the time we’ve spent together in study, teaching, conversations and friendship. These past years have been life changing. Dayalocana and I will be bringing the spirit of all of you with us as we leave for Akashavana.
While the trip to Spain is another step along the spiritual path, we are living in the real world of travel expenses and retreat costs. Akashavana Retreat Center is located in the mountainous Aragon region of eastern Spain. The trip up the mountain starts with air travel then train, bus and lastly by jeep. I’ll be one of fifteen ordinands making the trip to this magical place. My sister ordinands will be coming from the UK, Germany, France and New Zealand. Any contribution you’re able to make is accepted with gratitude.
