NC School of Arts and Crafts

My name is Jamie, I grew up in a very artistic family and have a deep passion for the arts. My goal in life is to build an art school where we can all learn and teach each other life changing skills and knowlege. Im in the Asheville area and trying to put together 3 workshops to start the school off. One Blacksmith shop, one mixed metals shop for silversmithing, copper working, tin smithing and also stained glass. Another shop will be all aspects of woodworking. It's a big project so it will have to start small and slowly build up. I want this school to be as green as possible so the mixed metals shop will be make out of recycled shipping containers. we will use solar energy, composting toilets, etc.  The pottery studio will be a cob workshop. For the woodworking shop we will use any wood we cut down to build these studios. I need to raise funds for these shipping containers, tools and materials to kick off this art school.  Any help at all will be so greatly appretiated. I hope to educate and grow with our amazing community here in North Carolina. Thank you so much!
