Engaged Citizens of Burlington is a not for profit group of citizens who have come together in the common belief that we can affect change in our city in a positive way.
We are a diverse group of residents, business people, local advocacy groups and professionals who seek the best for Burlington.
Through our online and community presence we aim to build awareness on community issues important to Burlington residents.
We will work with the City of Burlington through the planning and development process to bring the voices of our citizens to bear on the issues that impact the quality of life in our city today and in the future.
Building a Better Brant Street
Brant St. is identified in the city’s Grow Bold initiative as having “Character”.
Character = Vibrancy
How can we move our city towards an Official Plan where this is identified, respected and maintained?
ECoB aims to do that by:
Influencing City Policy when Possible.
Engaging City Staff when Applicable.
Appeals to the OMB or Local Planning Appeal Tribunal when Necessary.
Engaging Citizens in Civic Processes; Always.
