OPIOID and the UGLY

Almost one year ago, My wife and I lost our Son to this filthy epidemic commonly known as the OPIOID EPIDEMIC. Although there has been some progress on this front, everyday you learn of more and more young people losing the battle to addiction.  My plan here is to create a visual presentation that deals with the ugly side of addiction. The goal here is to show young people this presentation with the intent of educating them on what can and will happen if they give in to peer pressure and begin using these deadly drugs.  Many of the people I have spoken with about this feel that the current treatment options, and the education regarding this huge problem is not really effective, considering despite the efforts currently, people are losing this battle and we are losing a generation of young people that are simply now statistics. We as a people need to get involved to educate our children, and fight the people who distribute this garbage.  We do this by making our youth aware of the dangers, and showing them the realism of drug addiction.  Some of the expenses associated with this endevour  are for materials needed to produce our final presentation which includes photographic and video related equipment. In addition we also need capital for rental areas as well as props that will be crucial to creating effective presentations . We would like to start this project in January of 2018 and begin presenting our work right away with a continious additions as the year progresses. I feel that this project is very important and as someone who has had to deal with this first hand, I would be very thankful for any support received.  I also want to state, that although the money for this project is important, the involvement by people is also key. Idea's, suggestions, participation is greatly appreciated and we will utilize all resources to ensure this project exceeds expectations.  Thank you in advance for joining the fight.
