Hello world! My name is Nathan Wells, and I am asking for your help to make a life saving mission project. I am currently working to purchase, build, furnish, and staff a free/low cost medical facility in Leon, Nicaragua. The facility will be equipped to manage anything from family care, prenatal care, pediatrics, and trauma. The facility will also be able to house medical missionaries in a seperate living area.
The facility will be a state of the art program for locals in one of the most impoverished countries in the world. Services will range from free care and medicine to a very low cost for more advanced procedures. It will have approximately six exam rooms (one will be designated for trauma/infant delivery), a triage room, and waiting area, so patient's are not waiting outside in the heat.
The living area will be approximately six bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room. Having staffing living at the facility will insure 24 hour emergency care is available for urgent matters. We plan to hire one staff physician from Nicaragua to work at the facility, otherwise volunteers will be the key to making this facility a success.
