A few days ago, I had a close friend of mine commit suicide. His name was Nick and he was dealing with a silent battle that was hard to see. PTSD claimed Nick's life. He was only 36 as a veteran of the U.S Military and also a student. Today I speak out about PTSD and suicide awareness as this may be affecting someone closer than you may know. In response I have started a gofundme to donate to Mission 22. Mission 22 is a organization set to support and provide treatment for veterans who are suffering from PTSD.

Please share and donate if you can, thank you for any support.

Thanks to those of you who donated. I hope it helps at lease one veteran who is suffering from his/her injury with PTSD. My son, Nick, lost his battle. How many more must die before something is done?

I love my family and do not love that our Nephew is dead because the Veterans administration is inept and with full knowledge of his PTSD issue, left him in the wind to kill himself to escape the depression. I am happy yo give to this cause which should be fully funded by the Government who wanted everything from our men and women but take no responsibility for their sacrifice. Obama did not care but Trump does and hopefully will change the culture. Bob & Fran Connell
