Operation: Avalanche

This is Operation: Avalanche. For the past 4 years we have created a team that goes out every winter onto the streets of Chicago and finds homeless people in need, especially in harsh winter weather. We create survival bags and purchase Empowerment Plan coats, that serve as a heavily insulated winter coat that converts into a sleeping bag, for the homeless. We outfit each bag with regular and winter socks, thermal underwear (tops and bottoms), undershirts, winter gloves, Non perishable foods, toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, Lip balm, baby wipes, Hand warmers, heavy duty neck warmers, facemasks, etc. We do not provide medication or anything harmful.  Anything to keep them alive and reduce their suffering while increasing their comfort and dignity... what we call providing a pillow in hell. 
  We are domestic Carrorists. We are the exact opposite of Terrorists. We have no political affiliation. We don’t want nor need it. We simply believe in helping those less fortunate than us. We STRONGLY encourage creating copy cats everywhere in whatever capacity they can, large or small. Instead of ,” Three hundred people killed in terrorist strike” on the news our objective is to go viral and see on the news,” Three hundred people helped during a carrorist strike”. We cannot emphasize enough the goal to spread this movement as much as humanly possible. We can do this... but only with YOUR help. Any amount is appreciated and WILL go to those most in need.
