Mitch Levine lost his wife Tammy to the cruel disease of Lupus on March 6, 2015. Tammy was an incredible woman who never let her illness change her attitude. She always had a smile on her face and was more concerned about you than herself. She battled her diseases (she had Lupus, Raynaud's and Sjogren's) with incredible courage. This strong, beautiful woman was only 45 when she suddenly and tragically passed away.

Mitch is devastated emotionally. His pain and grief overwhelming. Tammy was his one true love. She was reason he got up in the morning. He is lost and he doesn't know what his future holds.

Throughout Tammy's long illness (she battled Lupus for 24 years), the financial burden was huge. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in medicals bills. She took 18 prescriptions a day for her illness and constant pain. Special and expensive wound care items had to be bought for the MRSA she contracted.

To add insult to injury and another layer of stress, Mitch and Tammy's home suffered storm damage during Tammy's last and most recent hospital stay in February/March. She had no life insurance.

Please help Mitch in his time of need. He is a good guy who dedicated his life to the woman of his dreams and helped raise their daughter, Katie. He will never be the same but money donated will at least help with some of the financial challenges and expenses he’s facing alone.
