Ontario Filmmakers go to Hollywood
Back in August, Stratford based filmmakers, Kristine Kleist and Zack Bryson joined forces with Danny Samman from Stratford's EYECON MEDIA inc. to compete in the Producers Guild of America's:
"Make Your Mark" Weekend Shorts Competition!
The trio and new creative collaborator, Miranda Franken, had to write, direct, and edit a complete short film based off very specific criteria under 51 hours. (check the following link for more info.):

The contest was a blast and a whirlwind, truly challenging the group to create a film they never expected to make.
"It felt like the entire weekend just fell into place! It took days after the competition to really process the achievement we accomplished." - the film crew.
The group manage to pull local support from the Stratford Perth Museum by using their historic trails and indoor Victorian home as a few of the main locations in the film.
After being judged by a highly accredited film industry professionals, their film that came out of it made the top 10!
For a competition that is open to all of North America, that is a great honor!
