On our way to Santa Fe!!

My name is Monique Barrett and I am a Portland, ME- based singer-songwriter. I am raising money for a cross country tour this summer which will eventually land me in Santa Fe, NM to visit my sister, who moved there 11 years ago. When she left Maine I vowed that I would make it out there, by car, with my kiddos some day, AND that I would cover the cost of the trip by performing and selling my original music. This seemed like a far-fetched idea, particularly for a single mama who was working multiple jobs at any given time, but I was determined to make it happen, and this summer the stars finally aligned! I've already raised close to $2000 for the trip and am hoping, with the help of my community, that I can clear the other $1500 we need before we leave on August 6.  Every pledge made of $10 or more will receive a link and code to download my new single, Santa Fe, which I wrote back in 2007, but just recently recorded at Penumbra Recordings in South Portland, ME. There are also many other rewards for backers, including post cards from Santa Fe, hand-printed tote bags, or even a personalized THANK YOU video with a cover song of your choice. All backers will receive exclusive updates leading up to and during the trip as well!
