Beth Ann Cox (Medical Fund)

If you know Beth Ann, you know she is one of the most compassionate people. She would give you whatever you needed if she was capable. Unfortunately, life has thrown her multiple curve balls and she is now in the position of needing your help.
Fifteen years ago she became Onehipchic, literally. She went in for a right hip replacement at the age of 35. Avascular necrosis took her upper thigh.  The bone died from steroids which were taken to prevent other illnesses. Unbeknownst to Beth Ann, this was just the beginnings of her becoming the bionic woman. Since then, she has had the left hip replaced and three revisions on her right hip. In addition to the hip surgeries, Beth Ann has had three back surgeries which included adding rods, screws and cadaver bone to her back.
Thirteen years ago Beth Ann was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, also know as Myelodysplasia. It overproduces immature blood cells and does not produce mature cells in the marrow. Basically, it is a rare blood cancer or blood disorder depending with which Doctor you speak.
The culmination of all of these medical complications has made Beth Ann unable to work in many, many years. The medical bills have piled up and are continuing to do so. It is with all this in mind that I have started this campaign for my dearest friend of nearly fifty years.
Over the years she has done helpful things for myself and I am sure, many of you. If at all possible, you find you are able to assist with this campaign of helping Beth Ann pay for these continuing medical bills, it will be greatly appreciated. Dottie and Al are no longer here to keep their baby safe and secure. She truly needs our help. If donations are not possible at this time, Beth Ann is going to need friends In helping to maintain her household (cats and dogs included),  yard and continued help with getting her father's house and property ready to sell.
As I sit here beside Beth in the hospital, day one after her final (thinking positively) surgery, my heart knows each of you will donate in the manner in which you are able. Whether it be monetary, physical or emotional support, myself and Beth Ann deeply appreciate anything you can do to help.
