WHO IS "ONE" AND WHAT IS YOUR MISSION?
We endeavor to be more than a fully affirming local church, although we definitely will be a fully affirming local church! Our heart is to become a national movement with a heart for local communities, starting with Northwest Arkansas. Our mission is to fill the void and bridge the gap between evangelical churches and the LGBTQ+ community. We are here to propel people (and the spiritually marginalized) to fulfill their destinies by cultivating a diverse, and unified, Kingdom-centered family of passionate Jesus-followers. The invitation to know Christ AND make Him known is open to everyone here at ONE Fayetteville. We are for LOVE. For Equality. And for YOU.
HOW WILL WE DO THIS?
-The foundation of this ministry is rooted in two things. Prayer. And Love. With these values at the center of all we do, we endeavor to represent Jesus accurately in this generation; as a LIVING God who wants to show His power, healing, redemption + miracles to an entire generation.
-We maintain a FULLY inclusive, Spirit-Led modern ministry in NWA that affirms all people-regardless of ethnicity, identity, denomination or sexual orientation. Period. This prototype ministry will ensure that everyone is welcomed, celebrated, and invited to be their authentic selves in our church at ALL levels of participation and leadership! Presently and for our future generations.
-Our hearts will be turned upward and outward. The goal is for our eyes and ears to be turned toward heaven, and our hands devoted to reaching the city, healing the broken, and loving others well.
-Establishing a SAFE SPACE, where everyone is free to worship openly, pursue the presence of God, and find their purpose.
-Actively and consistently engaging in outreach, service and the works of social justice. We are prioritizing equality as a spiritual initiative. God is Love AND He is Just. Therefore, we plan to humbly unite a multitude of voices against school and cyber bullying, discrimination, and societal and religious discrimination- wherever we see it. Our hope is to reverse the climbing suicide rate by TRULY affirming the value of human life.
WHAT WILL MY DONATIONS BE USED FOR?
-Legal and organizational fees to establish non-profit status with the IRS.
- Locate and secure a building which will serve as ONE Headquarters, a house of worship and revival for all people, LGBTQ youth safe house and shelter, and a spiritual + educational resource center for fellow bridge builders.
-Sponsoring Team Gatherings and Small Groups to facilitate the launch and growth of OneFayetteville.
-Community organizing and social justice initiatives which further the message that God loves those that society often overlooks or pushes aside. This includes both regional and national outreach efforts for the hungry, the broken, the rejected and the addicted.
-Marketing and advertising costs.
