Introduction:
Hello everyone, I am a bachelor's student in Bremen, Germany. I am studying Earth and Environmental Science at Jacobs University Bremen, Bremen Germany. I came from Nepal.  I am raising money to attend the One Young World Summit 2019 in London.  Attending this summit is quite tough and expensive. Also, the living expenses in London is high. The raised money will cover my registration fee, fooding and accommodation while in London and my travel expenses.

About the Summit:

On 22 October, young leaders from 190+ countries will descend on London for the One Young World Summit 2019. The annual One Young World Summit brings together the most talented young leaders from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organizations. Delegates meet and make lasting connections with peers from almost every industry, sector and country.  One Young World identifies, promotes and connects the world’s most impactful young leaders to create a better world, with more responsible, more effective leadership.

What I have done so far:
I am a young leader and I’m passionate about the global issues and want to make my community, my country, and the world an environmentally friendly planet. One can start it from their daily life activities such reducing the use of plastics, waste managing thing, water conservation, and so on. Working for the environment gives me the complete satisfaction and I prefer to say one should work for the self-satisfaction and the satisfaction of other selves.

Actions:
Learning by doing is what I call it my motivation. I stopped complaining and started thinking every minute because this is our time to make change. I believe that I always try to do something that can bring a positive contribution in my society and the world by engaging myself in various activities in and out Nepal. The world as a home to me. In Nepal, I have been involved in an NGO called Himalayan Climate Initiative after the massive earthquake 2015. We were working in one of the most affected districts of Nepal and the project is continuing. I was required to perform every task in and outside the office along with the other volunteers, my tasks included teaching in an earthquake affected school, conducting extracurricular activities, collecting foods, clothes, and basic materials for the flood victims, organizing Flash mobs in public areas for fundraising and awareness programs, and addressing women empowerment in the rural regions in Nuwakot, Nepal. I got to serve in a project called “Children’s Forest” at Manfred Hermsen Stiftung in Bremen, Germany. My chore was to taking care of trees, watering them, teaching students about the importance of trees and how to take care of them. I have performed activities like plantation, cleanliness campaign, charities, debates, presentation, rallies, events organization, and more. Currently, I am leading a student run club at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany where we seek of raising awareness about the environmental issues inside the university and beyond. I am planning for the projects about plastics; 1) Plastic campaign – collecting microplastics from the bank of river Wesser 2) Survey on the amount of plastics used by the restaurants and hotels in Bremen for packaging, wrapping, and for various purposes. It would be done based on the types of plastic they are using for protecting their foods and while purchasing.

Why I want to attend the  OYW Summit 2019:
I hope by having the opportunity to attend the One Young World summit 2019, I will be able to get the insight of real world, real scientists, and like minded leaders, and will be involved in numerous conversations regarding climate change, marine life, plastics, and more, and these help me to understand the global world more closely, and also the problems affecting the world currently  and how the youth are approaching towards them in order to find an optimistic solution.

I would appreciate your support in making it possible for me to attend the One Young World Summit 2019 in London. Thank you so much for your generosity.
