“One day starts today”
Most of you know the devastating news we received last week. For those that don’t, Britton’s cancer has returned and we are out of options for treatment. Britton will receive radiation to reduce the current spot at T4 on his spine. This will only relieve the pain for now and we have no way of knowing when the next spot will appear.
Without a treatment for cure our only hope is to hold back the cancer as long as possible. Ewing’s Sarcoma is fierce and with the strongest drugs available the Drs have only been able to keep it away for a year at best.
Britton and his sweet wife Kenzi have been working on their “One Day” list from the time they started dating. At the top of that list.... “One day we will get married” Aug 26th 2017 Britton and Kenzi checked of that most important day. The last year has been filled with continued hopes and dreams for their future. As newlyweds they have enjoyed their 1st apartment together, 1st Christmas, 1st new year and valentines as a married couple.
The news of Brittons cancer returning has turned our world upside down and as parents we can only do our best to give our son as many “one days” with his new bride as we can.
We are asking for your help, however big or small it might be to help this young couple create as many lasting memories as possible in the time they have together. This my be in donations or possible resources you have access to.
