Omar heart operation

Omar is a twelve year old boy, lives in The Gambia west Africa. He is my stepson. Recently Omar got very sick the hospital suggested that we have a heart scan done for Omar. We were so very shocked the machine went crazy. It identified Omar having a damaged heart valve. The only way to rectify it is an heart operation, took Omar for a second heart scan and it shows a small tear on top of the heart as well which shows Omar is deteriating. We were then told that in The Gambia they do not do any form of heart surgery, they do not have the doctors or equipment to do the operation. We were told that Omar would have to go overseas and have it done. I visited the director of health and the minister of health both told me to go away and find a sponsor. I have tried every where to get funds but been unsuccessful. We are a poor family and have no way of find 10.000 to pay for this. Today I went to great ormond street children's hospital with all of omars medical records including both heart scans, medical report and the board medical report, all have stated that Omar requires urgent treatment, as I said before only an operation will help him. This is urgent, Omar is such a lovely boy he was always a healthy child, loves football , of course doctors have told him no football yet. Please if you are able to help us with funding we would be truly grateful  but we do need the funds now in order for Omar to to live this is urgent. Thank you
