Olive First Aid Ambulance Fund

Tax deductible
As everyone may have heard already, 40s was a huge success accept for one very terrible occurrence that could shape the future of the show forever. A registered show goer, left the show, and struck a Town of Olive Ambulance only 3 miles from the show field. The driver of the ambulance was not hurt, nor was the personnel riding in the back. It was a small miracle. However 40s has fallen under a great deal of scrutiny by influential towns folk such as the town board members, fire and rescue personnel, elected officials, and people that are generally involved in town affairs. You can imagine that the general feelings towards the show and what occurs here is very negative at this time. It is not unfair to blame them, they don't know the family type of feel that existed here that day, they don't understand the love for what we do, and they are not very interested in finding out in the wake of something as brutal as our own Town Ambulance being possibly totaled at the hands of a drunken driver leaving our event. This is unacceptable under any circumstances. The show has a huge uphill battle at this point to position ourselves back into the good graces of the towns people. The ambulance will be covered buy the driver's insurance most likely, however there are layers of costs and expenses that may not be covered moving forward having to deal with the acquisition of a temporary ambulance ( town requires a main, and backup unit ), personal time spent driving to get the loaner ambulance, Registration fees, Insurance premiums, lettering and logo installation( law states it has to be officially lettered to be put into service even temporarily), technical personnel hired to equip temporary ambulance with radios and other electronics, medical equipment transferred, and host of other costs. Remember this will be double if the ambulance is replaced as all these costs will occur once again.
Your donation is designed to help Olive Rescue, a non-for profit entity deal with these costs while they spend countless man hours trying to submit paperwork to cover these costs with insurance.

Now make no mistake, we can only help try to change the negative implications that this has caused by opening our hearts and donating to the Olive First Aid. This will not guarantee a show for 2019 in Olivebridge but we can only hope it helps the towns people realize that we do care, that we took notice, and that we are working to make sure everyone is aware about the implications of drunk driving. The point of the donation is to help, to show we care, and to hopefully turn some negativity into a positive experience for the Olive First Aid Squad.

This donation is set up as a charity donation so all funds are deposited directly into Olive First Aid's account and there will be no other hands involved.   The goal is pretty low when you divide by how many people love 40s and come to the show.

Save 40s, make sure our town understands that you love the town as much we do and are willing to help. They will thank you greatly.
