Olin's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

On March 23, 2017 we lost our youngest child, Olin Larson Braun. He was only 27 years old. Olin was a kind hearted compassionate young man. He loved doing things for others and making people feel cared for.  He wanted to please everyone and try to help people in their situations. He would give people rides even when he didn't have the gas to do so.

Olin was such a pleasure to be around. He always had a story to tell or information to share. Olin was a talented musician and played bass and guitar for our church band. He loved playing with the band and loved the Lord.

Olin had the best hugs which will be missed by all. When he held you, you knew you were being cared for and loved.

He left behind a six-year old daughter Kaia that he called "The apple of his eye!"

Olin had so much going for him in his musical talent, intelligence, quick wit, and love for others. He will be greatly missed by many.

Because of how he was, he was really hard on himself.
Olin struggled in life with depression, self-worth and the disease of addiction.

Olin had gotten help for his addictions through 12 step programs and had been clean and sober for over a year and a half.

Unfortunately, some recent circumstances in Olin's life had made him depressed and it seems he turned to drugs again.

Olin was found by his sister on the morning of March 23rd, 2017 not breathing and unresponsive. She called 911 but it was already too late. He had passed due to a drug overdose.

We don't think Olin was trying to take his life. But he was trying to numb himself. Unfortunately, he turned to drugs and the drugs he used were not what he had expected. They were a mix of many drugs.

Debbi and I (Marc Weller, Olin's step father) are not in a financial situation to pay for his funeral. So I wanted to start this Go Fund Me campaign to help with this financial strain. All proceeds will go to funeral expenses and anything over that amount will go into to trust fund For Olin's daughter Kaia.

Myself and Debbi will be in charge of all expenses.
