Canada 2018: Ol' Time Carnival

Cajuca Mas Arts Producers is a not-for-profit artistic collective who have been creating Carnival arts for over 25 years. We rely on sponsorships, grants and in-kind donations to create our costumes. For 2017, we want to not only celebrate Canada in its 150th year, but Toronto Carnival as well in its 50th year.
We will be presenting Ol' Time Carnival: The Story Must Be Told, a journey through the evolution of Carnival; from its African roots to what it has become today on streets around the world. We want to add substance and relevance to the festivities.
We will use the funds to build the costumes, pay performers and artists and secure space in which to create.
We will start our production efforts in May 2017 and would like to know we have the backing to be successful. We are passionate about preserving and enhancing the Carnival arts and to ensure we create a positive legacy in Toronto for these this craft.
Our amazing team of volunteers have been with us for more than 10 years - without them, we would not be as successful as we have been.
You support and backing will make 2017 a landmark year for not only the Cajuca Mas Arts Producers creations but for Toronto Carnival itself. Without you, nothing is possible.
For donations of $500 or more, we acknowledge you publically (if you desire) as a sponsor and include a link to your organisation on our marketing materials.
