Older and alone

As a doctor I often come across many elderly individuals who have no or little support network due to death of a spouse or family living far away. These individuals often struggle with life on both an emotional and physical level. With the cost of living going up I have become increasingly aware of these individuals struggling on a financial basis also, often trying to save money by turning off their heating in the winter or reducing the amount of water they are using. I want to help them and continue to do so. If this is something that strikes a cord with you too please help.
