Olathe South Project Graduation 18
Tax deductible
Olathe South Project Graduation is part of a nationwide initiative that provides graduating seniors with a safe, supervised, tobacco, drug and alcohol-free environment to celebrate their high school graduation. Nationally, graduation night and prom night have the highest rates of teen death due to accidents.
Under the direction of Class of 2018 parents, Project Graduation is entirely volunteer led. The Olathe South Class of 2018 has 553 members. Approximately 400 graduates are expected to participate in this unique celebration following commencement exercises on May 20, 2018. Hosted at the Matt Ross Community Center, this celebration includes:
· A post-graduation party complete with food, snacks, beverages, fun and games
· Prizes for the games and activities
· A graduation gift bag that may include cash, gift cards or a combination of the two
The fundraising goal for Project Graduation is $42,000. While ticket sales, fundraising activities, business and family donations cover some of the costs, there is a need for more donations.
We would like to invite you to help us keep kids safe on graduation night by donating to Olathe South Project Graduation 2018. Our fundraising goal of $5,530 provides $10 per graduate. Donations will be used to purchase gift cards/gifts for game prizes, cash prizes and to offset the cost of venue, food, and supplies.
