I started teaching Engineering at Ola High School 5 years ago and began our Mustang Robotics team for the high school level and have since began to also coach the elementary level and assist with the middle school. This program teaches students about design, engineering, and teamwork.
It began as one Ola High School team with 12 members 5 years ago and has continued to grow ever since, adding Ola Elementary School the past 3 years and Ola Middle School this year. We now have 8 VEXIQ teams on the elementary and middle school level and 4 teams on the high school level. Below is a list of our current teams:

Throughout the history of Ola Mustang Robotics, we have had 7 high school teams attend the VEX World Championship including winning 3 State Champion titles and the Excellence Award, VEX Robotics highest honor. We have also had 1 Elementary team win the Georgia State VEXIQ Design Award and qualify for the VEX World Championship. This year we are excited, as we just completed our state championship events and have a team on the elementary, middle, and high school level attending the VEX World Championship. This is an exciting accomplishment for our Ola Mustang Robotics program. Below are some of the awards won by our teams this year:
