Scraps the dog medical fund

This fundraiser is for Scraps the dog. While out on her morning walk she was attacked by a much larger dog who did substantial damage. Scraps was on her leash and did not instigate this attack. The other dog, a german shepard, came up from behind and grabed her under her back leg and refusing to let go. After strugling and fighting to get her free I was able to save her. The other dog owner did nothing to stop the attack and when it was over he simply walked away. He did not decipline the dog or even offer an appology. I yelled after him to stop but felt the most immediate need was to get scraps to the Animal Hospital as fast as possible. Thankfully the good people at Media City Animal Hospital were able to repair her punctured lung and Scraps will survive after a few months of tnder loving care and recovery. Since the irrisponsable dog owner is no where to be found I am left with a huge vet bill, lost time at work and the agony of having to fight another dog to save my beloved Scraps. 

It is hard for me to ask for help but this has put me in a rather difficult financial spot and since so many people have offered support here we are.
