Shop With A Kappa

Each year, “Shop with a Kappa” provides a joyful holiday for underprivileged children who, without this event, may not experience one. Each child, who are identified through schools, churches, and social service agencies, are given a $100 Wal-Mart gift card to shop for Christmas presents alongside a brother of Kappa Alpha Psi. Last year, we provided 8 children with this wonderful oppourtunity. Our goal this year is to sponsor 30 children to shop and each donation will go towards that goal. The ultimate mission of the Shop with a Kappa program is to put a smile on participating children’s faces, while also easing the load for their parents during the holiday season.
