Oberon's campaign for Res-Q-Pets Inc

This little boy was handed over to us from a breeder in PA. His path, had we not picked him up, was already decided. Our family agreed to help foster the young pup with our other rescue Bernese Mountain Dog with hopes that we could adopt him. We bonded with the sweet boy in a matter of moments. Our three son's (14, 10 and 2) have named him Oberon meaning bear-like and noble. He is around 13 weeks old. We knew when we took him in as a foster that he was born with a large open umbilical hernia which would require surgery within his first few days. Unfortunately during that surgery it was also discovered that he only has a portion of a diaphragm. His liver is resting on his heart and lungs. Left untreated, his life would be painfully short. The news brought tears, but not all hope was lost. Another foster for Res-Q-Pets found a wonderful doctor at CARES who has a solution. A surgery which would allow Oberon to live a full and normal life. Instantly, the boys decided they wanted to help spread the word and raise money any way they knew how. They HAVE to save this puppy's life, this is a VERY costly surgery and Obi is only one of many animals with fatal conditions that Res-Q-Pets is currently treating!!! We are looking for your help.
