Oaxaca, Mexico Earthquake Relief

They never saw it coming.
Saturday, September 9 at 12:30 in the morning an 8.1 magnitude earthquake struck Mexico off the coast of Oaxaca. More than 100 people are dead and hundreds of thousands have lost their homes.
Entire villages have been destroyed all across Oaxaca and in every case there is one pressing need.
Clean water.
I, Cesar, have been working and serving in Mexico since I was 18, mostly with Dave Miller and Adventures in Life Ministry (www.ailministry.org ) From what Dave tells me, the destruction and need is unbelievable. Most people will never see devastation like this in their lives. Imagine having to think about caring for your family and rebuilding your home if you can't even get a glass of clean water.
We will be serving with Adventures in Life Ministry to help them distribute water filters to the people of Oaxaca. We will also help in putting together the village water purification systems AIL Ministry is installing. AIL Ministry will be purchasing the water filters and getting them thru customs into Mexico. We will be taking part in the clean up effort in four different villages as well. While there we also will be doing video work telling some of the stories of those affected by the earthquake. In order to make all this happen, and more, we need to raise $3,500. We will be in Oaxaca September 30th-October 8th. All GoFundMe withdrawls will be made by us both. Elizabeth and I, Cesar, will be responsible for the management of your financial gift.
